After McDonalds toys were banned, realistically, where is the line drawn on what can be banned?

If one county can ban the sale of Happy Meal toys (not sure if that was reversed or not), what is the limit on banning EVERYTHING that can be considered detrimental to our health/well-being?

Or is there one...?After McDonalds toys were banned, realistically, where is the line drawn on what can be banned?
Nannyism is fascism on training wheels.
They banned buying dogs in San Francisco.

Liberals steal your freedoms, for what they consider the good of the collective.

They put people in concentration camps in WW1 and WW2 for what they said was the good of the collective.

they supported segregation in the South for what they said was the good of the collective.

How many examples do you need.

Now the economic commission says Obama is destroying America from within, and what does he do...

Nothing

there is no line...

that's the way it works... it's all local standards and what locally you want to accept or ban...

some areas ban ducks that don't wear pants...

that's the way gov. works... if you don't like what they ban, vote them out... if you can't vote them out... move...

cons cry about needing more local gov. control and then complain ABOUT EVERYTHING SAN FRANCISCO DOES...
I suppose the line is that you cannot ban things that are protected by the constitution -- e.g., speech, assembly, a free press.

Outside of that, we the people, through our elected representatives, are free to ban or not ban anything we want. If we feel that the government is banning too much, we vote for someone else next time.
The liberals believe that they can do anything they want because they are the smart ones and we're all dumb.

The arrogance of one group thinking they can dictate how the rest will live is breathtaking.

We have to throw them out of power before we have no rights left except to pay taxes.
I have to admit that I like an occasional trip to McDonald's. But, places like McDonald's profit most from people with a basic lack of common sense. If people weren't apathetic enough to have 7 daily meals there per week, they probably wouldn't be peddling toys to begin with.
This is why there should be no prohibition, but rather people should be educated on what they consume. Thus they will make their own choice and reap the consequence weather it be good or bad.
If it was really about public saftey, they would be going after the food they sell. It is just a bunch of controls freaks with to much time on their hands.
It is not possible if the constitution is followed. if not anything is possible. That's what some are counting on.
soon the nanny stater aholes will have us all walking around wrapped in bubble wrap. for safety.
This government is really starting to look like the one in "1984". George Orwell was really ahead of his time.
Why would we want products that are detrimental to our health? You probably want asbestos back, too.
What is that on Your head, a diaper? communism, the democrat wet dream.
there is no line
this is the dream of van jones.

Van Jones dream... OBAMA'S dream.
