my boston terrior mix dog loves to eat mcdonalds toys. she is very sneaky she will chew and even eat things like the tv remote, the telephone. any small thing she can fit her mouth around. she has actually ate my camera. i have had to leave her at the vet because she was plugged up with these things. she is two years old no matter how hard i hide things she still manages to find something to chew up. she can turn barbie dolls into confetti. when i catch her in the act she knows what she has done she drops her head and does the crawl across the floor to her cage.she will hide things quickly and go back for them later. i have bought her several things just for her toys and she will not even look at them, never touches any thing for a dog. i cant give her chewy bones or raw hide she swallows them hole and gets choked on that. i need help with her.How do i break my boston mix from eating everything in sight?
Give her the dog toy. Once she looks at it, click your clicker (this is for clicker training. If you already haven't you can say yes instead. To start her off so she knows that once you click/say yes, click/say yes and everytime you do, give her a treat. Do this 50 times at least. ) or say yes and reward her. Everytime she looks at it reward her. She'll get use to the idea. When you see her play with it, reward. Finally after a week, start to not use the clicker / yes noise as much. Maybe only a couple times a day. Then, eventually, you can stop and hopefully she will play with that toy only!! Good Luck!!How do i break my boston mix from eating everything in sight?
Buy him a raw hide or appoved pet chew.
Each time he chews the right thing, praise the heck of of him.
